Greetings
It is understandable to be concerned when you notice differences between private and government vaccination schedules for your daughter.
While the standard PCV series often includes four doses, catch-up requirements vary based on the child's current age and health.
PPSV23 is generally only recommended for children aged 2 or older who have certain high-risk medical conditions.
For healthy children, PPSV23 is not typically used as a routine substitute for missing or incomplete PCV doses.
The best approach is to have your pediatrician review her records to determine if a final PCV catch-up
Hi good evening,
The Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP) recommends the Pneumococcal Conjugate Vaccine (PCV) for all infants as a primary 3-dose series at 6, 10, and 14 weeks, followed by a booster dose at 12–15 months. Other than that if your child is having splenectomy or any congenital immuno deficiency syndromes you need not give any ppsv23
Next Steps
Give one more dose as booster at completion of 2 years
Health Tips
But check the schedule properly as most private hospitals follow IAP, thy would have given the injection
