PCOS / PCOD (bulky ovaries)
Hi, I am 29 years old unmarried girl. My periods have been pretty irregular after covid along with other symptoms. I got infected with Covid 6-7 months back. I recently got my ultrasound done which says “both ovaries are bulky and show multiple small peripherally arranged follicles and increased strongly echo gene city suggestive of polycsytic ovarian pattern. Right ovary is 3.5 *2.2*2.6 cm (12.3 cc) and left ovary is 3.5*2.0*2.3 cm (10.2 cc). Mild free fluid in pod is seen.” My ultrasound was done 6 days before my onset of periods. I am little worried. Request you to check and guide me further. Thank you.

Your irregular menses is due to PCOS. Pcos treatment starts from diet modification to lifestyle changes and excercise and few myoinositol supplement. If not regularising with these then cyclical OCPs are started.
