PCOS occurs in 20℅ of Indian population. It's a condition . It causes irregular periods, abnormal sugar profile, infertility n excessive hair growth. It's well treatable and it may be diagnosed with scan also. Yes it's normal not to have cysts in scan. That means the condition is not prevailing right now. But it may occur again. Some clinicians don't prefer to treat thyroid unless TSH levels go above 10 and t3 t4 levels are abnormal. If you're trying for pregnancy,it is worth starting treatment for your condition called subclinical hypothyroidism. Talk to your doctor about this
