PCOD - Irregular periods

Asked for Female, 20 Years

My wife has irregular periods more than two months sometime and doctor diagnosed as PCOD and gave metaformin and folinext . she took for 3 months no period and no pregnancy. later when we visited she did harmones test and confirmed LH and FSH imblanaces. She was asked to use unwanted 21 days for few months. can you please suggest for how many months she has to use to make harmonal balances?
