PCOD causing needle like pain in ovaries

Sir, I have been suffering from PCOD since 4 years. But unfortunately I came to know about this one year ago. Now I'm getting needle like pain in my ovaries either side. is it emergency? Is it necessary to consult the doctor immediately? Please let me know if I have to take an immediate action.
