A 9 year old had a brain hemorrhage and had brain surgery. He is now in a coma and hooked up to a breathing machine to keep him alive. His brain is not responding to any stimulus. However, one time his parents spoke to him and a tear rolled down his face. Is he brain dead or still in a coma?
