Based on the photo and symptoms, this does not appear to be oral cancer. Oral cancer lesions are usually persistent, non-healing, hard ulcers or red/white patches that do not improve and are often painless initially. The redness and patch you’re describing are more consistent with irritation, inflammation, or a healing ulcer. The fact that pain reduced after applying Dologent gel strongly suggests a benign inflammatory condition, not cancer. Common causes include: • Minor trauma or ulcer • Nutritional deficiency • Tongue coating or irritation • Stress or temporary infection Advice: • Maintain good oral hygiene and tongue cleaning • Avoid spicy or irritant foods • Stay hydrated If the patch does not heal within 2 weeks, increases in size, becomes hard, or bleeds, then an in-person dental examination is recommended. At present, there are no strong signs pointing toward oral cancer

The pic attached is not very clear but posterior left side of the tongue does appear to have a big ulcer ,which is mostly the cause of pain. Please visit dentist to have a clinical examination done to best ascertain the cause of the same . Many vitamin and mineral deficiencies and gastric disturbances also manifest in the mouth ,so please don’t get worked and get an examination done.
