Painful Bump in armpit
My wife has constant painful bump in depth of skin in axilla.from outside,it looks like normal swelling but it causes pain in hand and in breast while she is taking medicines as advised by doctors but still no relief.one doctor suggested to get FNAC test of that swelling area and after that test he told us it is just fat cells .he said it's nothing and forget about it. and one sergeon suspected it bump of Tuberculosis.please give me correct advice.if it is TB then is it contagious??

Its better if she gets an excision biopsy and send it for testing. Fnac is too small a sample to conclude the final diagnosis.

The diagnosis would depend on the FNAC report. If the FNAC report is not clear, she may have to undergo a biopsy. It is important to rule out TB elsewhere in the body, like lungs.
