Hi, severe pain on the lower right side needs careful attention. It could be from something like muscle strain or digestion, but better not to guess at home. Try a warm compress and rest for now if you can. A quick in person check would be best to sort it safely.
Pain in the right lower abdomen could be due ureteric stone, appendicitis.you can take paracetamol and drotin, however,a visit to emergency room is recommended
Please don't ignore that, it could be appendicitis, if ur feeling like vomiting or having vomiting better to get USG abdomen scan and evaluate it for better treatment, could also be referred pain form kidney stones
Hi,
Severe pain in the lower right side of the abdomen can have several causes, including appendicitis, kidney stones, intestinal problems, or other conditions that may require prompt medical attention.
Because the pain is severe, I would recommend seeking an in-person medical evaluation as soon as possible, especially if you have any of the following:
• Fever
• Nausea or vomiting
• Loss of appetite
• Increasing pain
• Difficulty walking due to pain
• Abdominal swelling
• Blood in stool or urine
Until you are assessed:
• Rest and avoid strenuous activity.
• Sip water to stay hydrated.
• Avoid heavy meals.
• You may take paracetamol/acetaminophen if needed for pain, provided you have no allergy or contraindication.
Avoid taking strong painkillers such as ibuprofen, diclofenac, or other NSAIDs until you have been evaluated, as they can sometimes mask symptoms or be unsuitable for certain abdominal conditions.
Next Steps
If the pain is severe, worsening, or accompanied by fever, vomiting, or fainting, please seek emergency medical care immediately.
Severe pain in the lower right side of the abdomen needs urgent attention and should not be managed at home alone. This location is where the appendix sits, and appendicitis is a serious possibility that must be ruled out â especially if the pain is constant, worsening, or associated with fever, nausea, or vomiting. Other causes include ovarian cyst (in females), kidney stone, or muscle strain, but appendicitis is the most time-critical.
Next Steps
Please go to a hospital emergency immediately for an examination and an abdominal ultrasound â do not delay if the pain is severe and worsening. Feel free to consult me directly on Practo for a detailed evaluation as well.
