Pain near tooth
I've been experiencing mild pain beside my ear nearby cheeks for a few days especially during night time, however i couldn't pinpoint the exact location of pain. It took me a few weeks to pinpoint the location of pain. It was due to tooth pain and i got my dental scaling done. It has been 3 days and the pain has increased a bit and started in day time also. My dentist adviced that the pain is normal after few days of scaling. Kindly advice me some remedy for the pain.

Hello, yes your pain is due to a tooth. But scaling may not help you to stop the pain.. And after scaling you may get bit of sensitivity never pain.. I would suggest get a full mouth x ray done (OPG) and see a dentist.. Till then you can take any over the counter pain killer like combiflam.

The pain behind ear could be because of wisdom tooth or at times coz of parotid gland disease in which case you may have fever too.. So visit a dentist for second opinon.

Definitely your pain is due to tooth. And night time pain is most important sign of toothache. Only scalling won't be helpful in such situations

you need to go to near by dentist and ask him to have a look and to do thoroughly examination.
ask the doctor if he/she can take x-ray of the same.

Hi,
You need to revisit the dentist for a more through examination as to the cause of the pain.You may also require an xray.Incase a dental cause cant be found and depending on the exact location of your pain you may require an ENT consult.
