Dear Ma'am /Sir,
At the outset you would need to specify where the pain is, as the management would differ.
Postoperative pain and residual induration for a month or so at the incision site is quite common, especially if the overlying wound is healthy. That would resolve in due time with S.O.S intake of analgesics.
If there is pain and swelling in the calf/ legs far away from the operative site, however the management will differ.
Next Steps
If there is pain in the legs, remote from the operative site please consult your surgeon immediately and get evaluated for something called a Deep Venous Thrombosis.(DVT) ( Clinical examination, urgent anticoagulant therapy and Doppler)
