Pain in upper right side stomach

Asked for Male, 27 Years

My wife is trying to concieve she is taking folic acid tablets 5mg twice daily. She's taking folic acid tablets from last 2 months. But recently from 3-4 days she is having pain in the upper right of the stomach as well as some middle back pain. The pain is sharp for 10-20 secs but the pain starts recurring again anytime. Can anyone help in this ? Is it because of folic acid side effect?

It has nothing to do with folic acid.(folic acid is not that strong acid) It could gastro-entritis Take light food and probiotics for 2 days If problem is not solved consult online.
