Pain in the knuckles!
Hello! I am asking this question with regard to my mother. She is 50 years old now. From past 3-4 months, she is experiencing pain in her knuckles, Interphalangeal joints. As such, there is no swelling. No fever. No fracture. Because all the fingers on both right and left hand are paining it seems. Can I know the reason why this is happening? Is there anything serious? What treatment is necessary? Kindly help! Thanks in advance.

Hello. Probably there is deranged metabolism. Note when the pain is more. If more after rest or in the morning upon waking up, its probably inflamatory,l ike rheumatoid arthritis. If its severe at end of the day or after activities, its probably degenerative like osteoarthritis. Go to a nearby Ayurveda doctor for detailed evaluation and treatment plan. Ayurveda has promising results in such condition.
