It may be due to muscle strain, gastritis, cholecystitis (especially after fatty food), or costochondritis rib inflammation You should undergo an ultrasound of the whole abdomen and visit our clinic so that we can evaluate you properly and advise appropriate medication and dietary changes

Pain in the right upper abdomen or lower ribs can be due to common causes like muscle strain, acidity or gastritis, and sometimes gallbladder related issues. If the pain is mild and mainly on touch, it is often muscular. Watch for symptoms like pain after meals, nausea or vomiting, fever, or increasing pain. If any of these are present or the pain continues, further evaluation like an ultrasound may be needed. I can guide you better based on your full history please book a consultation.

Need more history regarding Symptoms to evaluate. If the pain is gradually started with aching and localised to rib and cartilage junction and worsen with movement, palpation or deep breathing, no fever and normal lab reports- it can be Musculoskeletal or costochondritis. If it is sudden and not affected with breathing, movement, raised CRP and raised WBC, associated with fever, need and USG abdomen for stones or wall thickening to rule out cholecystitis If the pain is sudden and  severe and worsening with breathing and movement, need an Chest Xray to evaluate further.
Next Steps
consult nearby clinic in case of fever, severe pain, difficulty in breathing, low Blood pressure

Mild pain in the right upper abdomen (Right Hypochondriac Region), especially when it is tender to touch, often points toward issues related to the Liver or Gallbladder. However, since the pain is near the lower ribs, it could also be musculoskeletal (Costochondritis) or related to the hepatic flexure of the colon. A localized 'tenderness' on touch is a significant clinical finding that needs to be correlated with your digestive symptoms and lifestyle."
Next Steps
I need some more history from your side to give you better treatment plan so do connect and consult with me
