Pain in periods

Asked for Female, 16 Years

I was sexually active last month. 3 days before my periods date were due, i was having pain in my lower and upper abdomen. Now today i had started bleeding but the cramps i am having is more intense than regular periods. I don't have any changes in my breast. 2 months before I had an ultrasound in which there was cyst on left ovary. Could this pain be because I am pregnant or just because of the cyst?
