Pain in pelvic area
I am a 48 years old woman. For the last 3-4 days I have been feeling pain in my lower pelvic area. Sometimes it happens in my periods but I have still 12-13 days left in my periods Please guide

The most common reason for pain in the lower pelvic area is constipation Other reasons could be indigestion urine infection and vaginal infection You can connect for a prescription of an antispasmodic Have a high fibre diet to correct constipation Get a test called urine routine to rule out urine infection You can get an ultrasound done to find out the reason for the pain

Lower abdominal pain in females mostly due to PID. Needs more details. According to your age you need ultrasound. You didn't mention about burning Micturition or any urinary symptoms so we can rule out UTI for now. Rest need more details and investigation
