Pain in neck, back of head, shoulder arm
I am having pain in the neck, back of head and numbness in left arm and shoulder for last 2 months. Sometimes dizziness also occur for 1-2 sec followed by sweating and shivering. Also did MRI. Report is enclosed. Consulted doctors and prescribed with medicines below: 1. Proxeym-300 2. Dubinor During the medication, pain was a little less but after completing the course there is still pain. Attended few days of physiotherapy also. What should I do next???

You are young to have these problems. Medications will treat the symptoms but disease will be there. You need a through clinical evaluation with assessment of you neck and upper limbs. There is some amount of PIVD in your MRI and it does correlate with the pain you have (C5 root supply your shoulder, hence compression can lead to pain in shoulder) But as there is no weakness, it can be managed with some lifestyle changes with excercises for neck muscles specific.

You are too young to develop cervical problem. It seems you have poor posture and don’t keep fit. Avoid 2- or 3- wheelers. Do not jog and avoid jerks in neck. Use neck exercises properly and good back and neck posture. Keep fit with regular walks Consult if u like.
