Hi, These sensations are linked to stress, poor sleep or minor nerve irritation.  They are not serious and improve with rest and light activity.  Stay warm, keep hydrated and monitor.  Feel free to consult for further guidance.

As a physician, I would approach your symptoms systematically rather than jumping to a single diagnosis. Your Symptoms * Feeling unusually cold, especially under a fan * Body not feeling warm * Pain in fingers, hands, legs, and behind the knees * Alternating chills and sweating * Sweating when covered with a blanket or bedsheet * Symptoms present for the last 2 days Most Likely Causes 1. Early Viral Infection (Most Common) Many viral illnesses begin with: * Chills or feeling cold * Body aches and joint pains * Muscle pain behind the knees and in the limbs * Sweating episodes * Fever that may be mild or intermittent Sometimes the fever is not obvious initially, and patients mainly complain of body aches and chills. 2. Dengue or Other Mosquito-Borne Viral Illness In India, especially during mosquito seasons, dengue can present with: * Severe body pain * Joint pain * Pain behind knees and other joints * Chills and fever * Weakness Watch for: * High fever * Headache * Pain behind the eyes * Rash * Bleeding gums or nose 3. Influenza (Flu) Common symptoms include: * Sudden body aches * Chills * Sweating * Fatigue * Fever 4. Less Likely Causes If symptoms continue beyond a few days, doctors may also consider: * Thyroid disorders * Vitamin D deficiency * Vitamin B12 deficiency * Anemia * Rheumatological conditions However, these conditions usually do not start suddenly over 2 days. ⸻ What You Should Check Now Please measure and record: 1. Temperature (every 6 hours) 2. Blood pressure 3. Pulse rate 4. Oxygen saturation (if available) Important questions: * Do you have fever? * Any cough, sore throat, or runny nose? * Any headache? * Any recent mosquito exposure? * Any rash? * Any burning during urination? ⸻ Treatment (For Now) General Measures * Drink plenty of fluids (2.5–3 liters/day unless restricted) * Take adequate rest * Avoid direct fan air on the body if it worsens symptoms * Eat light, nutritious meals For Body Aches or Fever If you do not have liver disease, stomach ulcers, or allergy to paracetamol: Paracetamol 500–650 mg every 6–8 hours as needed for fever or body aches (maximum 3,000 mg/day). Avoid taking multiple painkillers without medical advice. ⸻ When to See a Doctor Urgently Seek medical attention immediately if you develop: * Fever > 101°F (38.3°C) * Difficulty breathing * Persistent vomiting * Severe weakness * Confusion * Chest pain * Bleeding from gums or nose * Very low blood pressure * Symptoms worsening after 48–72 hours My Clinical Impression Based on the history alone, the most likely diagnosis is an acute viral illness causing chills and body aches, but dengue and other infections should be ruled out if fever develops or symptoms persist. Please tell me: 1. Your current temperature. 2. Whether you have fever, headache, cough, sore throat, or mosquito exposure. 3. Whether the pain is mainly in the joints or muscles. With that information, I can give a more precise physician-style assessment.
