If the pain is localised and doesnt radiate along the back of your thighs, then you needn't worry much. It would be non-specific. If at all the pain radiates down or if you are feeling some tingling sensation when u have the glut pain, then u might need to go get it checked by an orthopedician, could be a minimal nerve compression.
In general, when u consume lots of proteins, it is beneficial to keep yourself well hydrated as all the protein put an extra workload over your kidneys. Having adequate amounts of water would be beneficial. No active intervention is needed at present.
