My Son aged 12 years is having lot of pain in his left ear for last two to three days. Ear is dry no liquid coming out of it. He is having some cough.

It can be external ear infection (otitis externa) / boil (furuncle) or it can be due to cold.  Give some painkillers and OTC anti-cold tablets , if it doesn't come down please an ENT specialist in your place.
