Pain in arms
Hi, I went for a self defence class last week. Had a few moves where we had to get our arms out of a locked position. It involved some twisting and stretching. Ever since then my arms hurt. Until 3 days I was unable to make a fist, open the door. I can now make a fist but cant pull my the back of my fingers towards myself

You might have probably sprained ligaments of the wrist. Keep your wrist splinted in a wrist brace in neutral position for two weeks. Immerse upto mid forearm in a bucket with ice cubes and ice water. After two weeks, if normal, undergo wrist strengthening exercises before restarting your martial arts sessions. If symptoms persists after splinting even after two weeks, consult with a Physiotherapist.
