Pain in anal area

Asked for Female, 26 Years

Two weeks ago, I had a very hard stool and after defecation I felt a tiny irritation as if a small cut was there inside the right part of the anus. I was not worried as it happened 3-4 times before in the last 5-6 years. But from the past days, I felt terrible pain in my anal area and it was always there but I still could sleep at night. Last night I could not sleep at all. There is a terrible pain and irritation. Please suggest something. Should I visit a doctor?
