Hello..... So you should stop doing it.. Weight lifting could cause muscle spasm or fractures of bone.. Force applied can't be assessed from here.. You take rest.. Or else get an x ray of chest and consult orthopedic surgeon. If there is no fracture of bone it heals in a week or so...
