Pain after mirena
Hello doctor, I gave birth to my son 2 years ago, normal. i never used any birth control method before. i got mirena inserted, and it been 24hrs, i am having severe lower back pain and hip pain. on and off stomach cramp ( like period cramps). also having bleed. i feel very tired. is this normal?! how can i come through this?! can i take any medication for the pain?!

It is not normal to the extent that you should get symptomatic treatment for this. But with the passage of time it will settle down.

Yes you can take medicine for pain. Pain should  settle in few days time.

The cramps n bleeding should settle in a week's time Feeling tired bus unrelated to mirena Get ur hemoglobin sugar n Thyroid levels checked Hv a good protein rich diet Yes u can take a pain killer
