Dear Doctor
I just purchase oxymeter and I was checking myself and my daughters oxygen saturation my oxygen levels are fine but my daughters ( 4 years ) oxygen saturation shows 92, 94, 61, 86, 95, 98 97 it shows different readings. She has no fever, no cough, no breathing problem, she plays well, due to weather change she has little cold, for cold I am giving her corominic syrup. For oxygen saturation levels should i take her to the doctor? Please suggest. Thank you.

Hi
It could be happy hypoxia if your child is covid positive and asymptomatic
Majority of the times pulse oximeter values varies in children as they are not compatible.
Oxymeter probe is designed to detect saturation and heart rate for adults, for children u need oxymeter with pediatric probe specially designed for kids. U can check saturation when kid is in sleep. Any movement while checking saturation will result in wrong values.
