The weight is slightly on the higher side.what is his diet like? If he is on formula feeds, pls reduce it .
Avoid high calorie fatty food, junkfoods
like biscuits, fried foods etc...substitute with healthy snacking like dal or lentils sundal, fruits.Increase fibre in the diet
by adding more servings of green vegetables.Increased weight can be genetic as well.Try modifying his diet as advised. If it doesnt help and weight increases disproportionately, then may be he needs to be evaluated further.
Hope this helps.
Is he on formula milk?
It also depends on family genetics.
He might shift to normal in coming days.
Don't give him fatty foods.
Rest normal diet and wait.
Hi!
Yes the weight is little bit on the higher side..
But you haven't mentioned his diet
You need to stop too much formula feeds (if using )
Give only home based foods
Reduce the sugar, ghee/butter, oil amount while preparing the food
Give more fruits and vegetables (if not giving)
Obesity has a genetic basis(familial) also......if still gaining weight rapidly then visit a doctor
