Last year I was hospitalized (for 3days) after almost fainting after a gym session. I felt faint for a couple of weeks everytime I went to the gym prior to this incident. The routine at that time was quite taxing - 2 times gym every other day, fasted workouts in the morning. And I was overall on a caloric deficit.
I used to be a college athlete and have always kept fit, with an active lifestyle. After last year's incident (oct) my life has turned upside down. Hospitalization report only called out a mild hypokalemia (potassium was 3.9) but K levels quickly came back after a corrective diet.
Post this, for a couple of months, I used to feel lightheaded, with cold feet, extreme fatigue even on menial things like walking 100-200 m. Threshold has increased now and I can do daily activities without much issues. But with even mild exertion, symptoms come back.
Doctors have prescribed vitamins/supplements but progress is minimal. Any help/suggestions is appreciated.
