The symptoms you are experiencing—brain fog, anxiety, vision flashes, and lack of motivation—are likely a combination of post-viral fatigue from Typhoid and a hormonal imbalance caused by the lack of Post-Cycle Therapy (PCT) after anabolic use. When you stop anabolics without PCT, your body's natural testosterone production remains suppressed, leading to significant mental and physical 'crash' symptoms
Next Steps
Blood Work is Mandatory: You need a comprehensive hormonal panel to see the damage. Specifically, check: Total & Free Testosterone, LH, FSH, Estradiol, and Prolactin. Also, check your Liver Function Test (LFT) and Lipid Profile, as steroids impact these organs.
Consult an Endocrinologist: As suggested by Dr. Raj Singh, you must discuss your previous anabolic use with a specialist. They may prescribe medications (like HCG or Clomid) to restart your natural production even if a year has passed.
Vision & Heart Check: While flashes in vision can be due to high blood pressure or ocular migraines (common in anxiety), an eye check-up and an ECG/Echocardiogram are recommended to rule out any steroid-induced heart changes.
Nutritional Support: Start a high-quality multivitamin, Omega-3 fatty acids, and Magnesium to support your nervous system and brain recovery.
Psychiatric Support: If the anxiety and 'dull brain' feeling are overwhelming, a psychiatrist can help manage these symptoms while your hormones stabilize

Don’t worry 😊 these symptoms can happen after infection and also due to anxiety or hormonal imbalance, especially with steroid use. It’s important to evaluate properly and rule out underlying causes. You can book a consultation and I’ll guide you step by step.
If you are doubtful whether you have completely recovered from Typhoid. Do a recheck with a blood test and see if you are clear.
Hydrate yourself, sometimes hitting the gym hard right after this kind of infection may make you drained out of energy.
Next Steps
Hydrate very well. Avoid heavy Protein supplements, heavy outside food or heavy exercise
Health Tips
take an Anti Typhoid vaccine for immunisation against Typhoid.
I can understand how confusing and uncomfortable this must feel, especially after recovering from an illness and then noticing so many new symptoms in your body. What you are describing can be a mix of post-illness fatigue, anxiety, and also possible effects of past anabolic use, which can sometimes affect mood, energy levels, and concentration. Symptoms like brain fog, overthinking, low motivation, and body sensations are commonly seen when the mind and body are both under stress.
At the same time, visual symptoms like flashes and eye strain should not be ignored, so a basic medical and eye checkup is also important to rule out physical causes.
The good part is that these symptoms are manageable once we understand the root cause properly. With the right guidance, treatment, and therapy support, your energy, focus, and mental clarity can improve significantly.
I also provide online consultation and therapy support, so you can reach out if you would like a detailed evaluation and structured plan to recover.
