Over bite and under developed chin

Asked for Female, 17 Years

I’ve undergone orthodontic treatment 3 years ago, and I had had my braces for almost 2 and half years but still upper set of teeth are over my lower set of teeth and my chin is not very prominent . I feel like I have an overbite, Do I need a orthognatic surgery to correct it or are there any other cosmetic procedures to fix it?

You are familiar with your problem list and your orthodontist would have hinted at his line of treatment before giving you braces. Yes if you have deficient chin you would need a corrective surgery and post 18 yrs is the ideal time to get it done. Simplifying_ if you are not happy with the way you look or you feel any improvement is necessary then orthognathic surgery is a more predictable way to do it. Cheers.
