Hello, Sometimes I accidently bite food with my front upper teeth (I am wearing braces from last 10 months) and it pains. Is that a problem or will it harm my teeth. Thank you in advance

Hi, you aren’t supposed to bite any food with your front upper teeth, since the braces are fixed lightly so that it can be removed easily once the treatment is over. Also, cut hard crunchy foods like apples or carrots into small pieces and have it from your back teeth. If you eat from your front teeth, braces may come off and your treatment time may prolong. And an additional charge may be applied for an extra brace to be fitted.

Wait for 2 days. If problem persists see your dentist. Avoid biting hard food items with the front teeth.

You are not suppose to bite from your front teeth .. the teeth are in continuous movement when you are wearing braces..  it will pain but this is temporary..once the treatment is finished and the teeth have gained their permanent position it won't pain.
Next Steps
do warm saline rinses 3-4 times a day..
