Hello Oral cancer usually occurs after many years of tobacco consumption. If someone starts tobacco early in age, there are more chances of developing oral cancer. In Indian scenario I have seen men as early as 30 year old, having oral cancer. But if your ENT has examined you and your ulcer has healed, you must not worry. You must definitely NOT smoke/ consume tobacco in any form.

Please visit a surgical oncologists and have it examined as the duration of 1 month is too long and u r a smoker. It might be a premalignant I.e not yet formed cancer if the ulcer is still persisting. There is no particular age but it increases remarkably after 10 yrs
