Oral thrush and Mouth ulcer

Asked for Female, 30 Years

Hi Dr., My daughter is 1.5 year old and her weight is 11 kg. She got mouth ulcer and oral thrush on her tongue and lower lip 3 weeks back. I have applied candid mouth paint and zytee gel for 1 week after Doctor Consultation. She recovered in 1 week and we stop applying gel. But again today oral thrush occurs on her upper lip. She started brushing her teeth. But put finger and things on her mouth. She is active and taking her feed. She passes motion daily or once in 2 days. Wanted to know why oral thrush and ulcer keeps on coming again and is there any precaution need to be taken or solution for not happening in future.

You will have to find out the cause for repeat thrush, how is her immunity, Please check the toys she is playing with, wash them. Meet your paediatrician again for follow up.
