Dear friend, actually 3rd molar or wisdom tooth erupts from 18-26 years of age,and most of the times it has no role in occlusion so we recommend it to get extracted .so I would suggest you to get it extracted if it is causing u pain.

If the third molar or wisdom tooth does not have enough space in the jaw for proper eruption or is angulated incorrectly, the gum tissue over it gets inflamed, known as pericoronitis. It can be very painful, and the symptoms range from continuous pain, difficulty in mouth opening or limited mouth opening , pain on swallowing etc. It's better to get the tooth evaluated by a dentist who will diagnose the severity and course of the treatment plan through X-ray and clinical examination. Many a times surgical extraction is required for relief and sometimes antibiotics along with analgesics can be sufficient. Warm saline gargles are very helpful too.

Please visit your nearby dentist and get the appropriate treatment done. The dentist would take an x ray and advise you to probably extract it. If it's just an erupting pain then would prescribe you the antibiotics and painkillers. But without having a look it's impossible to say anything.
Visit your dentist nearby and get x ray done. Evaluation during clinical examination would help the dentist to decide best treatment as well as medicines. Donot wait for it to get worse.
