Hi, I had a question related to the birth control pill Yasmin.So I've been on the pill from October 2021 now and have never missed a day nor have I paused in between packs except for the 7 day pill free day recoommended to get your period. On the instructions manual it says to use other protection besides birth control for 7 days when starting a new pack of yasmin. Does this apply to every time you start a new pack or just the first time starting the pill? This January I had unprotected intercourse on 3rd day of starting the new cycle of yasmin pack...And that was the 5th day of my periods too...will there be protection from pregnancy

In case you finish your pill and start new pack within 7 days then you don’t need any protection.

If u strt Yasmin from day one of period each time irrespective of the 7 day pill free period u are covered fr all days
Better to strt a new pack each time from day one of period irrespective of the 7 day pill free period
