Occasional red urine
Hello Doc, I'm a mother of 1.5years twin boys. During pregnancy I went under the gestational tightening and then the Cesarean. A 3 months after delivery had instered a copper -T, it's been a year to it now. After that I could experience a number of changes like the type of discharge etc. Recently since months I'm experiencing occasional passage of red colored urine, urine which is transparent red without any blood clots in it as such. Thanks.

I am suspecting some recent infection. To be sure you should get Urine routine and microscopy done. Often infection causes red cell casts in urine and can be treated by antibiotics. Drink lots of water and Cranberry juice.

if problem persists get an ultrasound abdomen done and consult a nephrologist.
