Hi ,
It's better to give homemade food than premixes. If your concern is poor weight gain ,
1. It's better to consult a paediatrician to check your child's growth and development, and then plan a diet/supplements based on those.
2. There is a simple formulation that you can make at home for poor weight gain - High Calorie Cereal Milk. For that you need
Pasteurised Milk -100 ml
Rice /Ragi/Suji finely powdered - 2 teaspoon (5gm)
Sugar/Jaggery - 2 teaspoon
Coconut oil - 1 teaspoon
Mix the milk, Ceral powder and sugar and cook to a porridge consistency. Add coconut oil after taking it off from the pan. Mix well .
This feed can be given 4 times a day if needed
