Novelon suggested by my Doctor

Asked for Female, 26 Years

I have my marriage on 10th Dec. But my period date is around 6th of every month. So I consulted with a Dr to prepone my period date. He suggested me to take Novelon for 36 days from the date I consulted with him i.e 16th of last month. Is it safe to take Novelon? After taking it for 36 days, will my period be pre-poned every month from now?
