Hi my daughter is 18 months old.8.5 kg weight.she is able to walk independently but slowly.Turn the pages of a book.Finger feed on her own etc.But she is able to make sounds and tell only one or two words.Amma or ayyo that too very rarely.Is it fine?

Mild language delay can be familial. Find out how parent's language development. Any way remaining domains are normal for age. So you need not worry. Give stimulation to speak. Wait till she speaks. Some jargon is normal at this age. Hope this helps.
