Not advised to do NT scan
Hello Doctor, I am pooja , age 27 yrs , currently 20 weeks pregnant, had undergo early pregnancy scan & recently Level-2 scan and all the things in report is normal but my doctor didn't advise me undergo NT scan which I think is essential to determine down syndrome.
Is there any risk in future or age matters?
Kindly suggest me.

It is too late to do an NT scan now. It should have been done at 12-14 weeks.

Yes the NT scan followed by the double marker test are important tests in pregnancy nothing can be offered now

If everything is normal in level 2 scan no need to worry as nt scan is done from 11-13 weeks and it is of no use to worry now for that as it can't be done now
