Normotensive Glucoma
My mother 47 years diagnosed of normotensive glucoma with disc changes in left eye and the changes in right eye was minimal, IOP was 18mmhg, treatment was started,what will be the prognosis ? Is this a serious problem

Just keep a regular follow up with your doctor and don't miss the medication ever. Each and every dose is important. If pressure is controlled with drops it has good prognosis.

Hi, Yes this is a serious issue.  But as long as she uses drops as advised,  go for regular check up and follow her glaucoma specialist advice,  prognosis will be good.  Nothing to worry.
