I have recently been waking up in the morning with a white discharge. I went for an STI test and was give a Z-pak as a precaution. The attending physician said the culture indicated NGU. In 3 days, symptoms were not better (uncomfortable, but not painful). I was given a week long regiment of Doxycycline. Tests were negative for both gonorrhea and chlamydia. Discharge went away slightly, but still in the mornings--sticky, clear and semen-like appearance.
