Hi,
My 10 week old baby has gases since birth. He farts a lot. He is on breastfeed + formula feed since he doesn't seem full by breastfeed.
He sleeps around 6-7 hours in a day. Sometimes at night he doesn't sleep at all the whole night and cries a lot even if he is fed and doesn't need a nappy change. I feel it is due to gases that he might be having stomach ache. I give carmicide 5 drops daily.
Also, he has slight cold since a rough sound comes from his chest. I give nasoclear drops for this.
He pees over 8 times a day and does potty every alternate day.
Please suggest what to do to relieve my baby's gases and so that he can sleep peacefully at night.

Gas is a normal phenomenon, so it can't be stopped. (and if your baby does not pass gas, it can be more dangerous).
Few questions which u need to ask yourself and answer honestly.
Does baby sleeps well during day??
Does baby calms down when picked up in arms and swaddled? But starts crying the moment put down on bed?
Is your child gaining weight well, as per regular visits for vaccination to your child specialist?
If answers to all are yes, then need not worry too much.. Your child will outgrow this issues gradually.
If answer to above queries are NO, than u need to consult your doctor for through check up,... May need to change the formula
Which you r feeding.. Or best to exclusive breast feed.
