No pregnancy, but not getting my period
I have been trying for a baby. My last period was on 6th Dec. Since no period since then, i got myself tested for pregnancy - negative result twice. Got BHcg done, it's less than 2. Got TVS done, it also ruled out any pregnancy, however showed some signs of benign cysts. Doctor prescribed Primolut tablet for 5 days. Course is over, still waiting to get my period.  My questions - 1. How long should I wait before i consult my gynae again? How much delay is fine? 2. Also i have been asked to get FSH, LH and prolactin tests done whenever i get my period. Is that required? 3. I have recently put on weight, approx 8kg. Is that hormonal imbalance because of cysts? Is that causing delayed period?

1. You have to finish atleast 10 days after you finished primolut n tabs 2. Please trust your gynec, and get whatever tests they have asked and leave the essential part to them 3.ur weight gain can def lead to dealyed period and ,don't confuse PCOS with cyst , PCOS doesn't have cyst as such .
