Hi Doctor, My sister had her last period on may 5th and till now she has not got next cycle. What could be the underlying cause. She is married and has a daughter of 2yrs old. Pregnancy chance is ruled out. She never had irregularities before.

Causes of delayed periods can be many like pcos , thyroid issues , stress ,lactation , medication , pregnancy etc. A detailed history is needed to find out the cause in her case
