No muscles in thighs, mid 50s
My mum has a heart condition where one set of valves tightens up and is too close together, she has had this for a long time and is soon due for some kind of operation. However, recently she has been falling down when she walks due to hardly any muscle in her thighs. Her legs are stick thin with absolutely no muscle despite the rest of her body being a normal slimness. I have read online that this could be linked to premature death. Could you explain this to me as i am really worried?
