Nipple confusion
I offered medicines to the baby for cold and cough. Baby got confused the nipple with syrup pillar so baby not taking breastfeeding. I tried to breastfeed but baby neglect and continuously crying. I am very depressed kindly help me

The medicine would be very few drops and dosage would be twice or thrice a day. Generally it doesn't cause nipple confusion to babies.
Bottle feeding can lead it though.
So I would suggest you to continue giving breastfeeds. Breastfeeding establishment takes sone time for some babies.
Baby could be crying due to hunger, so you may offer expressed breast milk through katori and spoon.

Please visit a lactation consultant. They will help with this issue so you can start feeding again. Also crying may be due to colic pain. Visit a pediatrician for check up

Please don’t give bottle feeds if any
Make the baby relax without crying before feeds, that will help
