Night coughs and vomiting
Hello Doctor My daughter is 6 years old weighs 21 kg ,preterm baby by birth . birth weight 900 gram . She was in NICU for 2 months ,after that no health issues. Recently when she started to going to school. She is often infected with cold and cough for the past 6 months . Atleast once in a month ,I go to paedtrician . And cough is very worsening at night soon after sleep .followed by vomiting , no coughing during day . Very noisy breathing ,snoring .disturbed sleep . This happens often atleast once in a month . It lasts for a week at settles . she wears mask to school, follows clean hygiene . Should I take any tests ? Should I consult pulmonologist? Wat should I do.? Thanks.

You should first consult an ENT regarding snoring as it might be due enlarged tonsils ( Commom cause of snoring in children) and also to have a Pulmonologist consultation which requires some basic tests to look for the etiology.

May be Allergic aetiology.pl identify the Allergen and avoid them.pl consult pulmonologist for further evaluation and treatment.
