Newborn wake up
My baby is 15 days old Doctor has said me to feed for every 2hrs But my baby will not get up even if I wake up her And she won't drink for every 2hr If it ok if i feed for every 3hrs Please suggest

This is going to happen. Child usually remains sleepy in first 2 or 3 weeks of life. But for growth of child and not landing upto into NICU, we need to feed the child. So sometimes need to wake up the child with painful stimulus like flicking the soles or lifting up the child. Child will ofcourse cry and it doesn't feel good as a parent but it is for better health of the child. First 3 months are critical for the child for better growth and development, so encourage breastfeeding as much as possible
