Hello doctor
My sister in-law delivered a baby @ 6:46 pm today in the evening , baby weight 3.37kg
The doctor told baby have some fluids in lungs..
Sometimes the saturation is dropping to 80-90
Do we need to worry about anything ?
Should we keep the baby in the NICU for further treatment ?
What would be the treatment please briefly explain
Thank you

Spo2 dropping down to 80-90 percent is alarming, needs ICU stay and every hospital have their own treating policy and guidelines.. best advice and treatment is to follow the treating doctor as he/ she might be seeing the patient subjectively and objectively
