Newborn Baby has meconium aspiration. Is this lifeature threatening...Baby has now been kept on nicu and doc has asked to keep him under observation.. is it normality please advise.

Hi thanks for writing to Practo consult. Meconium aspiration syndrome( MAS) can be serious depending upon severity of aspiration, and also level of birth asphyxia. Its always better to keep baby under observation
